Once you have decided you would like to create a calmer classroom where you and your students can be more present to learn, contact us to schedule a free presentation to learn more and determine whether you are ready to implement the Mindful Awareness Program in your school.
Plan For Success
The following are the Classroom Teacher Expectations For Success: • Be in the classroom and participate at all times so you can learn the practices. • Schedule short mindfulness strategies into your lesson plans 2-4 times per day beginning in week 2. • Keep a simple log of what you practice. • Allow the kids time to journal after each class beginning in grade 3.
Evaluating the Progress
• Halfway through the program teachers will participate in a 30 min “check-in” conversation, either before or after school. • In the last class, we will complete a short follow-up survey with teachers and students.
• At the end of the program, participate in one 45 minute focus group to provide feedback for our Program Feedback Loop. The meeting can be before or after school. • If you agree that the program has had a positive influence on the classroom and students, we would ask that you provide us with a written testimonial.
Sharing your positive experiences, photos, and bulletin board ideas with us would be much appreciated! Email them to Tiffany@GrowingMindsToday .com
